Inspired by Harry Potter, this exhibit uses a simple custom wand with an IR LED tip that is captured and interpreted using a computer vision based custom program. This script I wrote can interpret the movements of the wand and then execute different actions: turning on lights, blowing bubbles, and even activating a homemade "Sorting Hat" animatronic.
